Marcia GRAD (1995), The
Princess that Believed in Fairy Tales Wilshire Book Co.
It is about a princess
and her imaginary friend looking for a prince that could save them from reality
and, with the help of a owl that can talk, she learnt that a fairy tale is not
exactly like her mother told her; she learnt that she can live her own fairy
tale, even without a prince.
The main character is
Victoria, the princess, she is daydreaming all the time, she is really kind and
is always looking for happiness. Vicky is Victoria´s imaginary friend, but then
you realise that Vicky is Victoria, but her other personality.
I will recommend the
book to everyone, it doesn’t matter the age, because you can learn a lot from
it, you learn what happiness is and it tells you that you always have to be
yourself, not what people want you to be.
