The story starts with Lily leaving a red Moleskine
notebook in a librairy’s shelf. Dash, notices the notebook among the books and
opens it. The notebook had dares he had to complete and then write other dares
and clues to know where they had to leave the notebook. Lily and Dash become
really good friends, but they’d never seen each other, so they start meeting in
person.
One of my favourite parts of the book is when Lily is
working (walking dogs) and Dash finds her in Washington Square Park. Lily is
walking Boris, a very big dog. He helps her walk him while they talk. Suddenly
Boris starts to run out of control and ends at the police station. No police
comes into the room, and they talk. I liked the conversation they had.
I recommend this book to
people between 13-15 years old who like diary style books and romance. Also
people who like mystery.
