Graham HURLEY (2008), The Chop, Barrington Stoke Ltd.
By Paloma Vela, 1º Bachillerato B, EFL

Norman, the main character, narrates incidents that happen to him and his family and friends. The Bird Flu is killing a lot of people in Britain. After several incidents, Norman’s grandfather falls seriously ill. Seconds before his death, he reveals important secrets.
The part of the book that I liked the most was the last chapter, because the grandfather reveals his secret. I didn´t like the rest of the book very much because too  many strange and unimportant things happen.
I’d recommend the book to students who know English because it’s difficult to understand.
